What Happens During a Mindswell Retreat?
Mindswell retreats create space to reset, reconnect, and grow. Over several days, we combine therapy, mindfulness, and movement practices such as surfing, golf, hiking, and/or yoga in beautiful natural settings. Each retreat weaves together group workshops, nature based activities, and time for rest and reflection.
A Typical Day at a Mindswell Retreat
6:30am
Morning Movement
Start the day with gentle movement such as yoga, stretching, or a walk on the beach, followed by a surf check to see if the ocean is ready for a paddle.
7:30am
Nourishing Breakfast
Fuel up with a wholesome, gut-friendly breakfast featuring local, seasonal ingredients, think colourful bowls, warm teas, and plenty of good vibes.
8:30am
Nature-Based Activity
Head outdoors for an immersive nature session. Here’s where movement meets mindfulness as you connect with nature and your nervous system.
12:30pm
Lunch & Reset
Refuel and recharge with a delicious, nourishing lunch. This is your time to rest, journal, nap, or simply soak in the stillness before we dive back in.
2:00pm
Group Therapy
Join a guided group session with a qualified therapist, exploring themes such as identity, values, resilience, and connection in a safe and supportive space.
7:00pm
Dinner & Down Time
As the day comes to a close, we gather to reflect, share, and connect with the group. Afterwards, enjoy a nourishing dinner or explore local dining. Evenings are yours to rest, reconnect, or join us in stillness.
